| 9-11: In Its Wake | |
The folk community lost one of its own in the World Trade Center attack on September 11. Jeff Hardy, brother of songwriter Jack Hardy, worked as an executive chef on one of the top floors and is still missing, presumed dead. Jeff was a fine bass player who played and toured with Jack for many years. He was also a regular member of the house band at the annual Fast Folk Revues at the Bottom Line in NYC. He was a gentle and generous man, and a fine player. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him or had the good fortune to play with him.
