A rare folk club appearance by Benbow, known in the late 50s/early
60s for his TV appearances on 'Guitar Club', 'Saturday Skiffle Club'
and 'Easy Beat', and for his regular column on folk music for 'Melody
Maker' during the 60s. His version of the traditional song 'Love is
Teasing' was recently included on "People On The Highway -
A Bert Jansch Encomium" (Market Square)

Irish instrumental quartet featuring Diarmuid Moynihan on Uilleann
Pipes, Tola Custy on Fiddle, Donncha Moynihan on guitar and Pat
Marsh on bouzouki. Their 1998 debut album 'Celanova Square'
(Ossian Records), produced by Declan Sinnot, showcases the
bands own original material combined with Breton and Irish tunes.
According to The Living Tradition magazine, "The musical alchemy
on display suggests a major new force in irish music is on its way..."

'The McGarrigle Hour' (Rykodisc) included guest appearances by
Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris and Loudon Wainwright III,
amongst others. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, it is "a great
way for newbies to get to know them, but for longtime fans, it's a
highlight of Kate and Anna McGarrigle's amazing Brönte-folk career."

Renowned English satirical and political songwriter who in the
early sixties was a member of The Galliards with Robin Hall and
Jimmie MacGregor, and later the Three City Four, which included
Roy Bailey and Martin Carthy. Perhaps his best known song
'The World Turned Upside Down' has been recorded and
popularised by, amongst others, Dick Gaughan and Billy Bragg
(who took it into the pop charts in 1985) and has been sung on
numerous demonstrations in Britain and the USA.
