Ballad Tree uses SMS messaging to deliver AI-powered financial alerts and account notifications to employees who opt in. The following terms apply to our SMS program:

Program Description

Ballad Tree sends two types of SMS messages:

  • Transactional Account Notifications: Personalized financial insights from Ballad AI, goal milestone alerts, spending summaries, budget reminders, and account updates related to your financial wellness program.
  • Promotional Marketing Messages: Special offers, product updates, and exclusive content related to Ballad Tree's financial wellness services.

Opt-In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages during the employee onboarding process by checking the applicable consent boxes. Opting in is entirely optional and is not required to use Ballad Tree's financial wellness platform. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any products or services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your financial activity, goals, and account settings. You may receive up to several messages per week depending on your preferences and financial events.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent. To re-enroll, reply START.

4. Employer Data Sharing

Ballad Tree is designed with employee privacy at its core. Your employer will never see your individual financial data, account balances, spending details, or conversations with Ballad AI.

Employers receive only aggregate, anonymized wellness metrics — such as overall program engagement rates, average financial wellness scores across the workforce, and goal completion trends. These metrics cannot be traced back to any individual employee.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
